Byabagambi John is Minister at Ministry of State for Works and Transport of Uganda since 2006 and Cabinet Member from 2015. He was a member of parliament for Ibanda County South in the 8th Parliament from 2006 to 2014. He successively served as Plant Manager and Plant Engineer in different plants and corporations from 1989 to 2000. He obtained a Master Degree in Chemical Engineering and specialized in plastic processing technology at Moscow Institute of Fine Chemical Technology.
