Stadler delivers first class 88 locomotive to Direct Rail Services
DIRECT Rail Services (DRS) announced on February 3 that it has received the first of 10 class 88 locomotives from Stadler Rail at its Kingmoor Depot in Carlisle, Britain.
The locomotive will undergo a testing programme for six to eight weeks and the remaining nine locomotives will arrive via the Port of Workington over the coming months.
The locomotive will be publically unveiled at the Direct Rail Services charity open day on July 22.
